Job Description

We are seeking a General Maintenance Worker to oversee the day-to-day upkeep of our dealership. The Maintenance worker will accomplish a variety of necessary tasks, including but not limited to: painting, interior and exterior repair, light replacement, plumbing, minor plumbing and electrical repair.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a similar role and may have some prior experience working in an automotive or dealership setting.

Previous experience is highly preferred. He or she must have strong administrative and organizational skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains general day-to-day upkeep of the building by accomplishing necessary repairs
  • Painting, cleaning and other daily upkeep to keep our store looking professional
  • Develops, maintains, and enforces all company policies and procedures
  • Oversees all repair statuses whether outside help is necessary or not.
  • Provides timely and accurate reports as required
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • May have dealership/automotive experience
  • Experienced with a variety of maintenance skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Highly professional and dependable
